Marie is a sustainability professional with over a decade of experience advancing high-performance residential housing. Her multidisciplinary background helps bridge the perspectives of investors, property managers, tenants, and policymakers to drive climate and housing solutions forward.
She previously led the Canadian Home Builders’ Association’s Net Zero Renovation pilot program as well as their prefabricated multi-unit residential building pilots. To build on this work, she co-created a national initiative to share technical knowledge with municipal policymakers to strengthen local housing and climate programs.
Marie currently works in the Strategic Initiatives Department at the City of Ottawa, focusing on affordable housing developments. In her spare time, she is often found walking by the water or actively following Canada or Mexico’s women’s professional soccer.
