This webinar brought together Retrofit Canada and the Smart Sustainable Resilient Infrastructure Association (SSRIA) for a deep dive into Alberta’s retrofit movement. Adam Larson of Zu House and Joe Hopkins of HSS Design Build each presented a detailed deep-retrofit case study, highlighting their technical approaches, lessons learned, and on-site experiences. Their projects demonstrated different pathways to achieving energy-efficient, low-carbon outcomes through thoughtful design, sequencing, and construction. Following the presentations, Alex Joseph, SSRIA’s Program Manager for the Innovation Fund, led a technical Q&A exploring the solutions that made these projects successful.
